Water meter verification is the process of assessing the accuracy of your water meter by comparing it to a calibrated reference meter. This ensures the recorded water volume is within an acceptable tolerance—specifically, within ±2% of the reference meter's reading.

At ACI, we offer professional water meter verification services in compliance with the Resource Management (Measurement and Reporting of Water Takes) Regulations 2010. According to these regulations, all water takes of 5 liters per second or more must undergo periodic verification to support accurate measurement and responsible freshwater management.

Regional Councils require annual verification for mechanical meters and verification every five years for electromagnetic or ultrasonic meters. ACI is equipped to perform these verifications efficiently.
